Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, primarily when you complete a mock test or contact us. This may include:
- Contact information — parent or guardian name, student name, email address, and phone number (if provided).
- Mock test responses — your answers, scores, and performance data from any practice test or mock test you take on our site.
- Booking information — if you schedule a consultation, the details you provide through our scheduling tool.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect more information than needed to provide our services.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate and send your personalized diagnostic report after a mock test.
- Respond to your inquiries and follow up about tutoring services.
- Improve our courses, practice questions, and mock tests.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Children's privacy
Our services are designed for students, including minors. We intentionally collect contact information from a parent or guardian rather than directly from children. We ask that a parent or guardian provide and consent to the use of any contact details submitted through our forms. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services to operate our website and deliver our services. These providers process limited information on our behalf:
- Formspree — processes mock test form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- Calendly — handles consultation scheduling.
- Google (Gmail) — we receive and store lead emails and may use Gmail to correspond with you.
- YouTube (Google) — our video lessons are embedded from YouTube, which may set cookies as described in Google's privacy policy.
- Netlify and GitHub Pages — host our website and may log standard technical data such as IP addresses for security and performance.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
Data retention
We keep the information you provide until you ask us to delete it, or after approximately two years of inactivity, whichever comes first. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your choices" below).
Your choices
You may:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To make any of these requests, email us at astaacademy26@gmail.com.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Some embedded content (such as YouTube videos) may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
